Hi! We're Mike and Darcey

Thank you for taking time to read about us. We are very excited to grow our family through adoption. We hope by learning a little about us that you can imagine the life and love we would give your child. Choosing life for your baby shows how much strength and courage you have. We have so much respect and admiration for you and the decision you are making for your child.

About Us

We have been happily married for seven years. We met through friends fifteen years ago and have been together ever since. We live in a three bedroom house with our ten year old boxer Brody and our two goldfish Gonzo and Reggie. Our house is in a wonderful neighborhood with quiet streets and a park for kids to play. We are just your normal average couple who enjoys spending time with our family and friends, going to sporting events together, exercising, traveling, and attending church on Sundays. We both have great jobs. Mike works as a propeller blade inspector and Darcey works in marketing. We both plan on taking time off work after the adoption. Darcey is planning on taking a leave of absence and then returning to work part time to allow her to spend more time at home with the baby.

Why Adoption

We have struggled with unexplained infertility for the past five years. It hasn't been easy, but we know all of the disappointment we have dealt with has lead us to adoption. We know in our hearts this is what God has planned for us. Being parents is what is important to us, not the genetic or biological ties. Adoption is a wonderful gift and we feel so honored and blessed that we have the opportunity to expand our family by adopting a child.
