Letter to Birthmother
Dear Expectant Parents,
You are going to read a lot of letters from a lot of deserving families and some will say that "they Can only imagine what you may be going through" But truth be told- none of us can even begin to imagine what you are faced with on a daily basis. I get annoyed with fake sympathy and I'm hoping that when you read the Letter from the family who touches your heart- you will clearly know it! Whoever they may be.God Bless you on your quest!
After seeing 2 of my cousins place babies, I wish with all my heart that I could be going through this for you and with you.
After the first year of our marriage, I got off birth control and I have had struggles with my body ever since. No doctors could explain why I wasn’t getting pregnant. I found people and groups to join to get insight about this and we tried for 3 + years to get pregnant. But that time never came for us. We always knew that we would adopt so we decided to start right then. Our First Miracle came to us shortly after we put our papers in. We adopted our first baby Brielle, and she has been such a blessing to us. 9 months later, miracle #2 happened and I got pregnant with Aria. We started trying again after Aria hit 9 months but, to no avail. She is almost 3 and I have since been diagnosed with PCOS- an ovarian condition that i will always have. We have so much gratitude for whoever you are and know that you truly are a beautiful daughter of Our Heavenly Father who loves you so much. I personally am so grateful for the women who gave my husband up to his parents who adopted him 31 years ago and raised him into the man he is today.

Our Lifestyle and Home
Right now, we currently live in a suburb outside of Las Vegas, In a 5 bedroom home with a pool and Spa and nice sized yard. Our neighborhood is filled with families of all ages and GREAT people who all are very open and kind. Our kids ride bikes in our cul-de-sac together almost daily. We let the big kids and little kids in our community come over and jump on the trampoline or play with the 2 dogs . We have the little girls over for tea parties or dress up or games.>
>
I am a group organizer for the moms in our community and we participate in park days, lunch dates with the kids, classes of all kinds like arts, dance, story time and so on. I have craft classes at my home occasionally and i teach moms and ladies how to make beautiful gifts or things for the home! I also run a fun Mom Blog where i get to contribute stuff about being a mom and anything kid related. It's been a nice outlet for me and the other contributors too.>
>
We like to have date nights as a couple and also nights were we take our kids out to fun places around town. We love everything about our area but, we will be moving to SW Denver , Co. in a few months.>
We are very excited to move there and have great business opportunities and strong feelings and impressions that we are to be there in order for our family to grow and be successful. Brandon has the great drive and motivation and we be opening up this area for the company he works with. He has always provided well for our family and we have wanted for nothing!!!>
I am so grateful for him and his abilities!>
>
We both like physical fitness as we wrote before and being outdoors and we also enjoy a few other things like getting massages and pedicures( me, really) having guys night out( he goes bowling or to the movies) or girls night out or in. For my birthday recently, i hired 2 massage therapist and an esthetician to come pamper me and my girlfriends. It was such a fun and relaxing time!>
>
We also like to participate in community service. Sometimes it's given in activities we do with our church, like making blankets for the poor and needy, or running in races to raise money for different charities or causes. We feel it's important to GIVE back to our community and our fellowmen.>
We Parent off the Love and Logic Principles and principles given by our church leaders as well. Basically, we want out children to be respectful and responsible for their actions at an early age.>
>
For example: A child is upset that He can't get a treat before dinner and throws his toy down and it breaks on the floor. Our response would be something like : (calmly with real feelings: HOW SAD for you, you broke your toy! What do you want to do with this mess now? Should we clean it with a towel or a broom? Basically, you give the kid choices how to correct the problem and you do not address FIT throwing or tantrums. The child in turn learns how to fix their mistakes and starts to realize that " If i throw a fit or break something in my rage, i am going to have to work hard and fix it afterwards so, I think i will not throw a fit again" or something like that.>
We believe every action has a consequence and each consequence is different. My daughters know that the world is a GOOD place to be in b/c when they make a mistake they have the knowledge and strength to fix it. Our girls are already little confident, loving and kind individuals!

Background on Corrine
Corrine grew up in San Diego, California, but was raised in Fallon, NV for 10 years of her life. She is the third of four children in her family. Like Corrine said, we met at UNLV in 2001. She was going to school on two scholarships for Jazz singing. She has an angelic voice that she freely contributes to others through plays, choir directing, and solo work in the community. She is very active in the church and loves to fellowship all she comes in contact with (I know because I am the one who has to wait for 20 minutes after church ends to get her out the door!).
Her many talents include sewing, gymnastics,(any type of crafting she can do it)running in races like 10k and tri-athlons and she is extremely good at cooking and decorating. The food is fantastic at our house and keeps me nice and healthy! As far as decorating, she is the best. She loves putting our house in order and has great ideas and designs that she incorporates in our home. You should see the girl's playroom, It's adorable!!! (man, i use that word now that i have girls, a lot!) She especially loves Christmas and making our home beautiful (We have three Christmas trees!!).
She is also amazing at making wedding cake creations, gorgeous hair bows and jewelry for our daughters and her clients and taking beautiful pictures. You can see some of her work at this site. She is a very active person who runs a mom blog and playgroup and likes to keep in shape by going to the gym, rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding, running, swimming and dance etc.
I know that Mothering was something she was born to do because of the woman God made her to be. She is the best mom to our 2 girls (one of which is adopted) and she loves playing with them, reading and teaching them to be crafty just like her. I can't wait to see what God sends our way next in respects to a child. She likes surprises but I'm the type who wants to know so i can start planning ahead!
I hope that gives you a bit of insight on who my wonderful wife is! We enjoying being together no matter what we are doing and this is why I am so in love with her.

Background on Brandon
Brandon was adopted as a baby at 3 days old. His birth-mother was in her 30's and already had other children but was in a situation that prompted her to place him into the arms of his adoptive parents. They raised him in Las Vegas, and reared him to be an outstanding student who was self driven and motivated to do just about anything from playing baseball and wrestling to selling candy, participating in the boy scout program and graduating in the top rankings of his class. He was lucky enough to get a little brother who was adopted, when he was 8 years old. His little brother and him are great friends now and the 8 years between them means nothing!
He received his Eagle Scout when he was 14, and later at 18, served a mission for our church in the Philippines for 2 years. He learned the language and loved the culture and all the Philippines had to offer. He now speak Tagalog b/c of his service there.
He had lots of fun growing up and attending baseball games and concerts and being the loud, fun outspoken guy that he is. He married me about 8 months after we met at UNLV, in the San Diego Temple in La Jolla, CA on July 5th 2002. He has always excelled in business and has earned a wonderful living for our family and had great experiences doing so, these past 8 years.
I am so lucky that he lets me be a stay at home mom b/c of his determination and drive to do his very best in his career. He has been in lending and investments the last 5 years and he will continue in that same field but will be expanding into the real estate side in these next few months.
Brandon is a big time movie fan who loves to quote crazy moves like Talladega Nights (That just Happened!) and other wild movies. He's a fabulous bowler and usually beats everyone else when he plays. He loves reading good books and fantasy books like Lord of the Rings and he loves motivational books and such that pertain to his fields of interests. He likes to bike and workout and toss the football around with the neighbor kids as well. He is the kind of guy who gets all woked up with excitement even when he just watching a game on TV!!! He's LOUD!! It's funny!
He has never met his birth-mom yet, but has met his birth sister and will probably meet her someday when he's ready.
I feel as his wife that He was so blessed to be adopted and be given a life of love and comfort and His mother and father raised him to be a fabulous human being, father, husband and friend.
I couldn't ask for anything more!!!
