Hello!

We are Sara and Daniel; we are a young, Christian couple who live in Garland, TX. It is a small, family friendly community located just outside of Dallas, TX. We are very blessed to have been able to attain established careers and to be financially secure at this time in our lives. After having had many years to enjoy each other and establish a strong and loving marriage, we were so excited with our decision to start a family. We were thrilled to be able to adopt our beautiful daughter Marina in 2007. Now that she is 2 years old, we are so excited and ready to add another child into our family. We know the choice that you are making is truly an unselfish one, showing compassion and unconditional love for your child. That love would certainly continue if you were to choose us as the parents for your child. We and all of our family would love your child endlessly. Hopefully, this letter will offer you a feeling of comfort as you consider us as parents for your baby.

Why Adoption:

Three months after we were married, we decided to go ahead and start trying to get pregnant. A year went by and nothing was happening. We sought the expertise of a fertility specialist who explained to us that there wasn’t anything, test wise, showing problems and to simply keep trying. So we did, for another year to be exact; I did end up getting pregnant once, but shortly after finding out, I miscarried. It was a devastating loss for both of us. We faced these tough issues together as a couple. This challenging time brought us closer and we soon realized that we were uncomfortable with the medical options that could result in a biological child. We decided fairly quickly with absolutely no hesitations, that we wanted to grow our family through adoption. > > We began our adoption journey in the beginning of 2007 and were so incredibly blessed to have our daughter in our arms just 6 months later. She is an absolute miracle and is the sweetest little girl! We are incredibly blessed to be her parents. We are so lucky to have a wonderful relationship with her birth mom. We send pictures every couple of months and talk on the phone as much as we can. We are all so very proud of our little princess. >

About Us:

I (Sara) was born and raised in a small town in SD. I had a very blessed childhood and grew up with many great people around me. My parents are wonderful people who always put their children first. My Mom and Dad tucked me in every night, sang songs to me, and read books to me everyday….a tradition that we have already passed on to our daughter Marina. I have two sisters that live just 10 minutes away from us. We are VERY close and spend lots of time together. My older sister and her husband also adopted their son. :) I have one brother that still lives in SD with his wife and their five children! We love taking walks around our neighborhood and going to the park nearby. Marina loves being outside with us and our three dogs, so we spend a lot of our time enjoying the outdoors. We love spending time in the pool, and just relaxing with all of our family. We love having barbecues and spending time with our great group of friends as well. Marina and I love to go shopping! :) I work as an account executive for a corporate housing company. I love assisting clients with their big moves to new cities and feel very fortunate to work in such a fun environment. I plan on taking a couple months off after the baby arrives. Later, I will continue with the work that I enjoy so much knowing our baby will be in great hands. (My mother-in-law will be watching her grandchild during the day; we also have a great in-home daycare provider who is wonderful.) Daniel was born in La Porte, IN and raised in Garland, TX. Daniel has always loved sports and enjoyed playing sports at a young age. He played city football, and always enjoyed having his family there to cheer him on. His Mom never missed a game! Daniel and his brother were always very close; they did everything together. Even now, they still go to the gym and spend a lot of time together. Daniel loves watching the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks, and is already teaching Marina all about them! He also loves to play golf and he loves to fish too! Marina loves going fishing with her Daddy! :) Daniel is very fortunate to be able to work from home as a credit analyst for a major financial company. We are very lucky that when the baby arrives, his company allows new fathers to take eight weeks off to bond with the new baby! We view our careers as a way to provide a secure future for our children; family will ALWAYS come first.

We would love to be able to remain in contact with you throughout the years to come if that is something you would feel comfortable with. We are open to sending pictures and letter updates, phone calls and even visits! We do, however, understand if you prefer to have a more closed adoption. We will be here for you and respect whatever decision you feel is best in this regard. We just want you to feel comfortable with your choice, and have peace with your decision. Your child will always know how much you love them and how much love and thought when into this adoption plan. We hope that the people closest to you recognize your inner strength and devotion to your child. We hope the knowledge that your child will be loved and cherished will provide some comfort to you.
