Thanks for stopping by. Let us introduce ourselves.> > Our names are Tom and Shian. We have been married for 3 years so far and look forward to a lifetime together. Because we were both 29 when we were married, we wanted to add to our family right away. That obviously hasn’t gone as planned. We have discovered the Lord has another plan for us. While we have not exhausted all infertility treatments, we really feel we have been led to adopt at this time and we couldn’t be happier. We promise to give unconditional love to any child placed with us. We are hoping for a very open adoption where the birthparents will become a part of our family, including letters and pictures, access to our family blog and in-person visits. >

Our Thoughts on Each Other

ABOUT MY WIFE: Shian is the most perfect person I know. She is everything to me. Some of her attributes that I admire are: the amount of patience she has with everyone, she rarely gets mad, she is really charitable and is always looking for something to do to make my life easier. She is an excellent mom. The way she reasons with Gavin is amazing to me. She loves foot massages and backrubs. She loves spending time with family. A funny thing about my wife is when she sleeps her feet HAVE TO hang out of the sheets because they get too hot. ABOUT MY HUSBAND: Tom is a very service-oriented person. That’s one of the first things that drew me to him. He’s the guy shoveling everyone’s walk in the winter and the one cleaning up after a family dinner. He is patient and thoughtful. He is an amazing man. I find tremendous joy in being married to him. He is a wonderful father. He finds time to play with Gavin each day. They love to have pillow fights and tickle each other. He is a BIG tease! ABOUT GAVIN: Gavin is nine years old and is in third grade. He has begged to be a big brother for years. He has a love for babies and little kids. If a child gets hurt at the playground, he is the first one there to help. He won’t go back to playing until he has the hurt child laughing. He is a happy, friendly kid. He is interested in art, reading, Legos and science experiments. He takes art lessons and performs magic tricks. He is involved in Cub Scouts and loves every minute of it.
