Dear Birth Mother

We greatly appreciate you taking the time to read our letter, and for considering us for the role of being parents to your child. Our names are Joel and Mindy. We have two daughters. We know that this is an important decision for you, and we understand that selecting a family to parent your child is one of the most difficult and imperative decisions that you will ever make. It takes a lot of courage and selflessness to take this step for your child. We are eager to share our unconditional love, daily laughter, and fun adventures with your precious baby! We can only imagine what you are feeling, and our hearts go out to you. We know you have a big decision to make, and we would like for you to take comfort in knowing that your baby will always be loved and cared for by us.

We were both born and raised in Arizona. We have two daughters that are fourteen and twelve years old. The girls are Mindy’s biological children. Joel has adopted the girls and they adore him as their father. Mindy had to have an emergency hysterectomy after the youngest daughter was born, leaving us unable to have a child of our own. We really want to raise a baby together. We have so much to offer a child. The girls are also very excited to welcome a new baby to the family.> > Joel works a job that only requires him to be away from the home eight hours a day, Monday through Friday. Mindy stays at home and plans on continuing this after a baby is placed in our home. It is such a joy to be able to stay home and spend time with the children. > > We built a new home that we have been in for about a year and a half. We have over two acres of land, lots of room for children. The school is less than a mile away from our house.> > Our daughters love to be active in all sorts of activities. Our oldest daughter is in dance at a studio. She performs jazz, ballet, hip-hop and tap. She is also very involved in school functions and is an “honors” student. Our youngest daughter is very athletic. She is on the fast pitch softball team right now. She plays in a softball league in the summer. She also is a very good student on the honor roll. We plan on giving them both, as well as the baby, the opportunity to further their education after high school if they choose to. >

We love to travel, go to sporting events, barbeque and get together with family and friends. Family is very important to us. We have a large extended family. Our parents are excited to be “Grandparents” again. A child will fit in naturally with our established family. We plan on giving this baby a wonderful life. We promise to love, support, nurture, and guide your child their entire life. It is our promise to make them aware of their own “personal story” and the loving choice you have made for them. We understand this is a difficult decision and without your courage and commitment, we would not have the gift of life you so selflessly carry.
